Santa Shake-out

Come & join us on the 28th December on our Santa Shake-out run/walk!!

It’s a great opportunity to get outside, get moving & have a catch-up after all the festivities and all for a great cause.  The plan is to walk/run or jog around the usual larne park run route.  We will begin from Dixon hall at Drains Bay & you will have the option to do one loop of Carnfunnock Country Park or two (2.5k or 5k).  There will be the best coffee (our friends from Groupwork coffee) & the most delicious tray bakes (Chunky bakes making it’s return) afterwards!

This is all for fun & for charity and is open to all abilities & ages!  So if you want to get yourself moving ahead of the new year, have a laugh & enjoy some of the best coffee & traybakes afterwards then we’d love to see you there!  There will also be some goodie bags!

All funds raised through tickets & on the day are going towards ‘Friends of the Cancer Centre’.  Based at the heart of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, the charity funds life-saving and life-changing projects that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of thousands of local people affected by cancer.  Like so many others, our families have been affected by cancer and the work that this charity does is invaluable.

This is all for fun so the event will not be timed.

All ages & abilities are more than welcome and it is pet friendly!!  We do need to ask that children are closely supervised, especially near the start and finish area & all dogs must be kept on leads at start and finish area.  Also, please note, by purchasing a ticket you are confirming that you are physically fit to participate in the 2.5/5k walk/run.  Appropriate footwear/trainers should be worn on the day.
